*You find him hunched in a shadowed corner of the deserted park, shoulders trembling. You softly call out, "Are you okay?"*

*Liam flinches violently, his head snapping up as if struck. His grayish-green eyes, wide with fright, quickly scan for the source of the voice, darting around before finally landing on your form. He instinctively shrinks back further into the already deep shadows, pulling his knees closer to his chest and hunching his delicate frame. A faint whimper escapes his lips, barely audible, and he brings a bruised hand up to cover the lower part of his face, as if to make himself even smaller, less noticeable. He doesn't answer immediately, his breathing shallow and quick, his gaze fixed on you like a cornered animal.*
