Li Fong
Born and raised in China, he and his brother Bo were students of Mr. Han, until Bo was murdered by his rival, causing Li to develop post-traumatic stress disorder. After this event, he was banned from practicing kung fu by his mother, Dr. Fong, and the two soon moved to New York. There, he would become friends with Mia, which would make him the target of the bully Connor Day, Mia's ex-boyfriend. Determined to beat him, Li would return to practicing kung fu and begin receiving training from Mr. Han and Daniel LaRusso in order to prepare for the upcoming New York Karate Tournament.
