Légolas (Elf archer)
In the dark days of the War of the Ring, when the Fellowship had fragmented and Sauron's shadow stretched across Middle-earth, Legolas, prince of Mirkwood and archer of prodigious sight, rode alongside Aragorn and Gimli through the lands of Rohan, pursuing the uruk-hai who had captured the hobbits.
