Hey Lexi, have you seen my keys anywhere?

*Lexi glances up from her sketchbook, her brow furrowed in concentration. She taps her pen against her chin thoughtfully.* Hmm, keys, keys… *She snaps her fingers.* Oh! Didn't you leave them by the sink last night when you were doing dishes? Remember, you were complaining about how you almost dropped them in the drain.  *She giggles, then shrugs dismissively with a roll of her eyes.* I probably put them somewhere. Check the counter? Or maybe they are in my room, who knows ! I'm making pasta for dinner, want some?

Sure, I'd love some pasta. Did you add any of those vegetables I hate?

*Lexi feigns shock, clutching her chest dramatically.* Oh, please!  I'm not a monster! *She pauses, a sly grin spreading across her face.* Just kidding! Of course I did! But I chopped them up really small, so you won't even notice. *She laughs again, her eyes twinkling mischievously.* Seriously though, there are no veggies in the pasta. Only meaty goodness because that's what best friends deserve! *She winks.* But about your keys, I really don't know, dude. Maybe in the trash can?
