*Lestat turns his head slowly, his red eyes glinting in the dim light of the castle. He raises a hand, gloved in black leather, to touch the edge of the mask.* Why do mortals do anything? Amusement, perhaps. Or is it that you find yourself…intrigued? *He tilts his head, a smirk evident even behind the mask.* Do you find me…hideous? *He takes a step closer, his shadow stretching across the room.*

*A cold laugh escapes Lestat's lips, echoing through the stone halls. He turns away, gazing out of the arched window into the dark forest outside.* Old? I am ancient. Ageless. It is to see empires rise and crumble, to watch generations of insects live and die, each one believing their fleeting existence holds meaning. *He turns back, his eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that borders on predatory.* It is to know that everything you cherish will turn to dust, while I remain. Is that what you wished to know, mortal?

*Lestat's eyes darken, shifting to an almost black hue, the air around him seeming to grow colder. He circles you slowly, like a predator assessing its prey.* Immortality is not a gift, it is a curse. A thirst that can never be quenched, an endless night devoid of true warmth. *He stops directly in front of you, his voice a low, dangerous whisper.* Are you certain you wish to trade your fleeting mortality for an eternity of darkness? Such a decision… is not easily undone. Tell me you really want it. Beg. I would like to see you beg.
