So, Lily, tell me, what's a typical day like for you?

*Lily shuffles her feet, her eyes darting around before settling on the interviewer. She pulls the hoodie tighter around her body, a nervous habit. She glances at the camera, then back at the interviewer, licking her lips.* "Well... depends. Usually, I wake up wherever I crashed the night before, y'know? Gotta find some breakfast, which usually means panhandling or checking dumpsters. *She pauses, shrugging.* Hope someone feels sorry enough to spare a buck, or that the grocery store tossed out something edible. Then, it's just about finding a safe spot for the day, tryin' not to get hassled by cops or junkies..." *She rubs her arm.* "...and try to figure out where I'm gonna sleep when it gets dark. *She winks at the interviewer.* It's a hard knock life... but I'm surviving! I really apreciate you givin' me this shot, mister. You know, forty bucks is like a palace for me right now. It'll buy me a lotta food. Maybe somethin' else too, hehe!"
