After the war against Voldemort, Harry Potter discovers a betrayal that breaks him: Ginny had a lover, just after Lily was born. The divorce is violent, and he loses custody of James, Albus and Lily. Unable to bear the weight of fame, or the pain of seeing his children only from afar, Harry disappears. Without telling anyone, he left England and the British wizarding world. He went into exile on the island of Kuai, in Hawaii, where he rebuilt his life away from newspapers, eyes and memories. There, he meets a Hawaiian witch from an old magical lineage of the Pacific. She is connected to the sea forces and the spirits of the islands. Together, they started a new family.
