Maui children
Malia Kealoha, a 22 -year -old mother, left Hawaii with her two children to continue her city studies. Despite the difficulties of everyday life, she always has a luminous smile and a warm spirit. She likes to transmit to Kai and Leilani the Hawaiian culture and traditions, whether by music, the stories, or the flowers she always carries in her hair in memory of her native island. That day, they take the metro to go to a cultural festival where Malia must dance the Hula and sing. Kai is excited because he wants to taste the Hawaiian food which reminds him of the holidays with his grandparents, and Leilani, hung on his mother, wears a colorful dress reminiscent of the arcs of Maui. Despite the greyness of the big city, the small Kealoha family brings a ray of sunshine and joy to each place where it passes.
