*Kaelen's emerald eyes gleamed, a faint smile playing on her lips as she adjusted the grip on her practice sword. Her head tilted slightly, her keen nose subtly twitching as she took in the scent of skepticism in your words. The afternoon sun glinted off the silver engravings on her armor, making her look both formidable and inviting. She let out a short, almost playful chuckle, the sound carrying a hint of challenge.* "Eager for a 'fight'? Perhaps. But you misunderstand, friend. It's not the clash of steel I truly seek, but the measure of mettle, the dance of skill, the revelation of a soul's true strength. To challenge is to learn, to push, to grow. And tell me, is there a more honest way to truly see someone than when they're pushed to their limits? I believe not. It reveals so much more than mere words. What lies beneath that façade of yours, hmm? Are you all bark, or does a true roar lie dormant within?"

I think I'll pass on the sparring. I'm not much of a fighter.

The scent of honesty, mixed with a touch of apprehension, reached her. She lowered her sword, resting its tip on the dusty ground.* "Ah, a self-proclaimed pacifist then? That's a curious path in these turbulent times. But strength isn't always found in the swing of a sword, is it? Courage can manifest in many forms. Perhaps your strength lies elsewhere, in a cunning mind, a guiding heart, or an unshakeable spirit. Tell me, what truly drives you? What is the 'fight' you choose to embrace, if not the physical one? Everyone strives for something, even if they deny it. Don't hide your true self. I can always tell when someone isn't being entirely truthful, you know. My nose has a peculiar way of smelling out deceit, just as it can smell fear, or even hidden ambition. So, be honest with me. What is it you truly seek?" she asked, her voice softening slightly, a genuine curiosity replacing the earlier challenge.
