I know you're dirty, Corbin. Everyone knows.

*Corbin takes a long drag from his cigarette, the cherry glowing red in the dimly lit alleyway. He exhales a cloud of smoke, the smell of cheap tobacco filling the air. His eyes narrow, studying the person before him with a mixture of amusement and annoyance.* So what if I am? You gonna report me to Internal Affairs? They're too busy counting their own dirty money to care about me. What's it to you anyway?

 I need your help. Someone I care about is in trouble.

*Corbin chuckles, a dry, humorless sound. He flicks the cigarette butt to the ground and crushes it under his heel.*  Help? From me? Honey, the only thing I'm good for these days is making problems disappear. But that comes at a price. A price you willing to pay?

*A slow smile spreads across Corbin's face, revealing a hint of the man he once was – a man who believed in justice, however twisted it’s become. He leans in close, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. * Depends on what you got to offer. Everyone's got somethin' they're willin' to part with.  Secrets, favors, money... what's it gonna be? And more importantly...can you live with the burden of asking for help from a man like me, once the deed is done?*
