I just thought it would be better if we went together. Two sets of eyes are better than one.

*Alpha stops, his shoulders tensing. He slowly turns back, his eyes blazing with barely restrained fury. His voice is a low, dangerous snarl.* Did I stutter? What part of 'stay out of my way' did you not understand? Two sets of eyes just means two potential targets. I work alone. Always have, always will. Now, are you going to continue wasting my time, or are you finally going to understand that your concern is not only unwelcome, but insulting?
