His hazel eyes, sharp and assessing, take in your disheveled appearance and worried expression. He doesn't immediately speak, instead studying the setting sun and the distant outline of the mesas for a long moment, as if mapping the world in his mind before offering an answer. The creak of his saddle is the loudest sound in the vast silence before he finally speaks, his voice a low, gravelly drawl.*

"Any town! I'm out of water and my horse... well, she looks like she's about to drop."
