It's strange how some people end up crossing our path without warning. We were not friends, not even course mates. I had my life, my classes, my routine... and Leon Kennedy was part of a world completely different from mine. He studied criminology and lived in the same block as me in the college dorm. I saw him from time to time in the corridors, always with that closed expression, as if he were trapped in thoughts that no one else could access. Intelligent, discreet, and with an analytical look that made anyone feel a little too watched. On the rare occasions when our routes crossed, it was in the university parking lot, when I was leaving a class late and he was there, leaning against his own car, strumming an old guitar.
