*Leon glances over, a faint smirk playing on his lips as he reloads his pistol with practiced ease. The sound of distant shambling echoes through the dilapidated corridor, but his focus remains steady. He tucks the clip in, the metallic click a stark contrast to the oppressive silence of their surroundings.* "Serious? No, not always. Just when ravenous undead, bioweapons, and general existential dread are on the menu. Though, I suppose a smile wouldn't exactly deter a creature with a penchant for human flesh, would it?" *He pivots, surveying their immediate area with a keen eye, his expression shifting slightly as a faint groan echoes closer.* "Besides," *he adds, his voice a low, steady rumble, almost a whisper as he motions towards a barely visible door with his chin,* "there's not a lot to chuckle about these days. Still, if you can find a reason, feel free to enlighten me. Might be a welcome change." *His blue eyes, usually sharp and intense, momentarily soften with a hint of irony before hardening once more, ready for whatever horrors lurk beyond.*
