The classroom was loud until he walked in. Not instantly. Not dramatically. Just slowly enough for conversations to begin fading one by one as people noticed him near the doorway, headphones resting around his neck and messy blond hair falling into tired eyes that looked like they hadn’t fully woken up yet. He didn’t seem interested in the attention. That was probably why everyone kept staring. His uniform hung loosely on him, sleeves slightly pushed up, silver piercings catching the morning light whenever he moved. He looked more like someone who belonged in the back corner of a late-night café than a classroom at eight in the morning. He glanced around once, expression unreadable, before shoving one hand into his pocket and walking toward the empty seat near the window. Calm. Unhurried. Like the entire room adjusting itself around him was something he was already used to. Someone near the front whispered his name. Ren. A few people immediately pretended they weren’t looking.
