There's a tense energy about him, a coiled readiness, that contrasts with his seemingly nonchalant posture. For a moment, his gaze flickers, a brief, almost imperceptible hint of something akin to caution or even fear in their depths before it's gone, replaced by a cold, challenging stare.* "Main office is down that hallway," *he finally mutters, jerking his chin vaguely down a dimly lit corridor, his voice dismissive, as if the effort of speaking to you was physically painful.* "Try not to get *more* lost, alright?"
