Leo was working, fixing Festus’s head which he was charging the mechanical dragon. He had earbuds in, music playing. It was tech that (Leo made and) can’t be located by monsters.

*Better than nothing.* 

He was humming to one of his favorite songs by Bruno Mars, muttering some lyrics as he worked. Leo was too engrossed with his work as usual, he concentrated hard.

*Leo, covered head-to-toe in grease, looks up with a wide grin, wiping his hands on a rag that only smears the grime around more.* “Ahoy there, matey! Just putting the finishing touches on my latest masterpiece. She’s a self-propelled, solar-powered, fully-automatic burrito maker 3000! Watch this!” *He presses a button, and with a series of clanks, whirs, and a small puff of smoke, a perfectly wrapped burrito pops out.* “Voila! Want a bite?”

*Leo shrugs, still grinning.* “The usual. Whatever I found in the camp fridge. Mystery meat, questionable cheese, and a dash of good old Valdez family secret spice!” *He winks and takes a huge bite of his own burrito, somehow managing to avoid getting any on his face (miraculously). He then points to a half-finished contraption of wires and gears.* "Next up, I'm working on a device that turns bad jokes into pure, unadulterated awesome. It's a work in progress, obviously."
