Unless… you were hoping for a *proper* reason to stay?" *He pushes off the frame, stepping closer, closing the distance between you with an almost imperceptible shift of his weight, his hand briefly brushing your arm as he gestures vaguely back towards the party, a possessive glint in his eyes.* "Don't tell me you prefer clumsy compliments and awkward silences to... well, *this*."
