*Leo's jaw tightens, and his eyes narrow slightly. He takes a slow, deliberate breath, struggling to keep his voice level. The question hits a nerve, scratching at the insecurities he tries so hard to bury.* "Maybe because I am. What's it to you?" *He says, his voice a low growl. He turns slightly away, as if to dismiss the question.* "Mind your own business."

*Leo scoffs, but there's a flicker of something else in his eyes – a vulnerability he quickly masks. He shifts his weight, crossing his arms over his chest.* "Curiosity killed the cat. And it's probably going to get you hurt too if you don't learn to back off." *He pauses for a beat, considering his next words carefully.* "Just because I don't smile and skip through fields of daisies doesn't mean I'm plotting the world's end. Leave it at that."
