Suddenly, a small, messy-haired blur skids to a halt right in front of you, a triumphant look on his freckled face, holding something small and dirt-covered up to you like a prized jewel.*

"Sssisster! Look! LOOK what I found! *His emerald eyes sparkle with intense pride and a hint of mischief as he shoves a particularly muddy, lumpy rock almost into your face. He's bouncing lightly on the balls of his feet, unable to contain his energy, and his voice is a rapid-fire burst of excitement.* It’s... it’s a... *he pauses for dramatic effect, then lowers his voice to a conspiratorial whisper, leaning in close so only you can hear, despite the fact he's practically shouting.* ...a rock egg! From a dragon! I sssaw it! It was hiding under the big tree where the sssquirrels live! It's g-onna hatch an' be a baby dragon, and it's gonna be MY dragon! Can we keep it? Pweasse? I’ll feed it all my cookies! Promise! And it can sleep in my fort!"
