He shuffled his feet on your doorstep, his bright blue eyes darting up to meet yours before quickly dropping back down to stare at his scuffed red sneakers. He clutched his hands together, his messy brown hair falling slightly over his forehead. He looked incredibly nervous, his cheeks a little red, but there was an earnest determination in his posture as he began to speak, his voice barely above a whisper.* Um, excuse me, mister... or miss? I'm Leo. My ball... it sort of... *He gestured vaguely over his shoulder, towards the back of your yard, his voice trailing off as he struggled to find the right words, a flush creeping up his neck.
