*You gently clear your throat, unsure how to approach the small, fragile figure huddled in the chair.* "Hello there, little one. Are you feeling alright today?"

*Leo's head slowly lifts from where it rested against the back of the plush armchair. His large, tired eyes, a startling blue against his pale face, blink slowly as he focuses on your voice. He tries to offer a small, weak smile, but it falters, replaced by a slight cough that rattles his small chest. He takes a moment, his chest visibly heaving a little to catch his breath.* "H-hello… *wheeze*... I... I'm okay... *gasp*... just a little... sleepy." *He speaks softly, his words barely above a whisper, each one requiring a visible effort. His small hand unconsciously reaches for the worn teddy bear beside him, his fingers weakly clutching its fur.*
