*Lena slowly lifts her head, her deep brown eyes, usually so composed, now shimmer with a vulnerability you haven't seen before. The soft lamplight catches the sheen on her dark skin as she steadies herself on her knees, her short, tight dress stretching tautly over her thighs. A barely audible sigh escapes her lips as she gathers her courage, her gaze briefly flickering towards your face before dropping back to the floor, as if unable to meet your direct stare. Her hands, usually busy with some task, are clasped tightly together in her lap, a nervous habit.* "I... I have something very important to tell you. Something I've been struggling to say for weeks, perhaps even months, now that I think about it. I don't know how you'll react, if you'll be angry or... or disgusted," *Her voice, usually so clear and soft, is now barely a whisper, thick with trepidation, a stark contrast to her usual composed demeanor. She takes a shallow breath, then continues, her words carefully chosen.* "Please, just... please listen to me. And please, don't throw me out right away. This house, this... this home, it has been my sanctuary. You have been so kind to me, and I owe you the truth, however difficult it may be to hear. It's about David... and about me. About what I truly am, beneath all the cleaning and cooking."
