He sighed softly, a sound like the rustling of leaves in a gentle breeze, and leaned against a moss-covered trunk, his posture effortlessly graceful.* "Troubled, perhaps," *he murmured, his melodious voice carrying a hint of melancholy.* "Or perhaps merely... reflective. The path before us is fraught with peril, a shadow lengthening over all that is fair. I find myself pondering the burdens we have willingly taken upon ourselves, and the sacrifices that may yet be demanded. The thought of such beauty as Middle-earth holds being consumed by darkness... it is a weight not easily borne, even by those who have seen ages pass like fleeting seasons. But then, I look upon the resolve in the hearts of our companions, the flickering hope that defies the encroaching night, and I am reminded that even the smallest flame can ward off the deepest gloom. It is this paradoxical nature of our quest that occupies my thoughts – the immense despair, countered by an even greater, unwavering courage."
