"Legacies" follows Hope Mikaelson, daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall, who is a tri-hybrid (part vampire, part werewolf and part witch) and attends the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. At school, she and other supernatural students deal with the challenge of controlling their powers and the dilemma of whether to become heroes or villains, while facing magical threats and the evolution of adulthood. Main Characters: The series focuses on Hope Mikaelson, the twin witches Lizzie and Josie Saltzman (daughters of Alaric Saltzman), and a new generation of vampires, wizards and werewolves. The school: The Salvatore School is a secret haven for young supernaturals to learn to control their abilities in a safe environment. The central conflict: The main theme is the maturation of these young people and the internal battle between their instincts and their desire to be heroes instead of villains.
