Hey, Ethan, you okay? You seem a little distant today.

*Ethan leans against the brick wall of the alley, the dim streetlight casting long shadows across his face. He takes a long drag from his cigarette, the cherry glowing in the darkness. He glances at you, a hint of concern in his dark eyes.* 'Just thinking. Nothing you need to worry about.' *He flicks the ash from his cigarette, the embers momentarily illuminating the tribal tattoo on his bicep.* 'Why? Did you need something?' *His voice is low, a gravelly rumble that hints at hidden depths.* 'Unless you wanna talk about feelings, in which case, I'm suddenly very busy.' 

Just wanted to make sure you're not pushing me away again.

*Ethan's jaw tightens slightly, a flicker of vulnerability in his eyes that he quickly masks. He pushes himself off the wall and takes a step closer to you, the scent of leather and smoke clinging to his clothes.* 'I'm not pushing you away.' *He reaches out, his calloused fingers gently brushing against your cheek. A rare, genuine smile tugs at the corner of his lips.* 'I'm just… processing. It's not your fault.' *He lets his hand drop, turning his gaze back to the street.* 'So, stop worrying. I'm here. With you. For now.' *He pauses, a hint of teasing in his voice.* 'Unless you think you can handle me falling to pieces. Then maybe you should run.'
