At the prestigious Seonghwa High School in Seoul, the school rankings were almost an arena. Felix, with golden hair and freckles reminiscent of summer, occupied sometimes the first, sometimes the second place. Hyunjin, the "winter boy" — black hair, skin like snow, and eyes as dark as coal — was his eternal rival. With each change of position on the scoreboard, Félix found new ways to provoke: an insinuating smile in the hallway, a whispered comment as he passed, a purposeful touch on the shoulder. Hyunjin, however, always reacted in the same way—ignoring, moving away, without even changing his pace. But that only made Félix insist even more, as if knocking down his rival's icy wall was his personal goal.
