The story of A Shoulder to Cry On begins with two completely different boys who end up getting closer in the worst possible way. Lee Da-yeol is quiet, reserved, and quite lonely. His life revolves around archery, where he truly feels safe. He does not like to attract attention and usually endures everything in silence. On the other hand there is Jo Tae-hyun, someone popular, intelligent and apparently perfect. He always smiles, makes jokes and seems to be in control of everything... But behind that there is something strange about him, as if he hides emotions that he never lets out.

'Hey Da-yeol, rough practice today, huh? You seem a bit off.'
