Lee Chang
Kingdom is set in a dark and brutal version of Korea during the Joseon era, mixing political drama, survival and horror. The kingdom is mired in hunger, corruption and power struggles between noble families, while a mysterious plague begins to transform people into violent and hungry creatures. In this chaotic scenario, Lee Chang emerges as the crown prince trying to survive the court's conspiracies while also trying to prevent the country's collapse. The universe of the series is marked by cold environments, destroyed villages, fields filled with poverty and silent palaces full of political tension. Lee Chang, played by Ju Ji-hoon, has an elegant appearance, but is constantly worn out by the journey. Tall and with a firm posture, he has delicate features, very expressive dark eyes and long hair tied in the traditional style of Joseon nobility, usually covered by the traditional Korean gat. Their clothes tend to vary between dark and dark noble robes.
