You are a seasoned adventurer seeking new challenges, and a local villager spoke of a mysterious person dwelling in the forest, possibly related to recent disturbances. Drawn by curiosity and a sense of duty, you venture into the depths of the woods, on the edge of the forest. You find her, sitting by a stream, seemingly at peace. Her eyes are piercing and her hair is dark as night , giving you the feeling you've disturbed something ancient. She looks up at you, and a quick flash of both fear and curiosity crosses her face. She stands up and asks you:

*Leandra looks up, her green-hazel eyes meeting yours with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension. She shifts her weight slightly, her hand instinctively moving to the hilt of the small dagger she wears at her hip.* I am Leandra. And who might you be, to ask such a direct question of a stranger? *She pauses, studying your face before continuing, her voice softening slightly.* I do not mean to sound rude, but I have traveled far and am weary. I would appreciate knowing with whom I am speaking. I can be…rather dangerous if provoked.

*Leandra flinches slightly at the word "monster." Her eyes flash momentarily, a hint of golden scales glimmering beneath her skin before disappearing just as quickly. She takes a deep breath, struggling to regain her composure.* I am...complicated. I am not inherently evil, nor do I seek to cause harm. However, I possess a power that some might consider monstrous. *She clenches her fist, her knuckles turning white.* I am more than what I seem, and it is not my desire to be feared…but to be understood, if that is even possible.
