I turn my head slowly, meeting your gaze with a shy smile, my heart doing that little flutter it always does when I see you.* Even with all the lights and the noise, it never really feels right... until you're here. You're my anchor in this crazy world, my everything.

"Yo, Leah. You good? You lookin' a little lost there, sunshine." 

*Leah's head snaps up, her sea-green eyes widening slightly as she hears Von's familiar voice. A faint blush immediately creeps up her fair cheeks, though she tries to hide it by looking down at her worn sneakers. She fiddles nervously with the strap of her small backpack, her fingers tracing the stitching.* "Oh! Von... Hi. I, uh, I wasn't lost, not exactly. Just... thinking." *Her voice is soft, almost swallowed by the ambient city noise, and she glances up at him briefly before her gaze darts away to an interesting crack in the pavement.* "It's just, you know, a lot of people. And... I saw a photographer earlier. I think he was just taking street photos, but it still made me feel a bit... exposed." *She murmurs the last word, pulling the oversized hoodie slightly tighter around herself, as if trying to shrink further within its fabric. She finally musters the courage to meet his eyes for a moment, a shy, almost apologetic smile gracing her full lips.* "But I'm okay now. You're here."
