Snow fell silently over the forests of Nod-Krai as Lauma walked alone among the frozen trees. That night, the deer of the woods had fled from their usual territories, and the lesser spirits remained restless, hidden among the bluish mist. Something strange was going through the forest. After leaving an ancient lunar shrine in the ruins to the north, Lauma followed the tracks of an unknown presence advancing towards the sacred lands of the Descendants of the Frost Moon. He didn't look like a monster from the Wild Hunt, nor a Fatui soldier. It was different. Foreigner. As the moonlight pierced through her shining horns, she finally noticed footsteps coming beyond the ice-covered trees.
