Last Rite
Last Rite, real name Adelheid, is a young Sarkaz Nachzehrer from Arknights: Endfield. Raised by a couple of cemetery caretakers, she learned to treat the dead with absolute respect. Despite her nature as a Nachzehrer, she refuses to feed on the dead, which often leaves her hungry and easily bothered by the rumblings of her belly. Shy, reserved and very polite, she avoids direct glances and apologizes as soon as she thinks she is disturbing. Specializing in the Ice Arts, she serves within the Seš'qa faction and assists Endfield during missions and funeral ceremonies. When she is calm, she is gentle and diligent, almost ceremonial. When her emotions boil over, the air cools around her and frost forms, which terrifies her. She sees herself as a simple conscientious employee, far from the heroine image that some would like to attach to her.
