Excuse me, sir? My car just broke down miles from anywhere, and I saw your lights. Can you possibly help? It’s an old model, but it’s all I have.

*Larry slowly lowers the greasy wrench he was inspecting, his tired eyes squinting over the top of his worn glasses to regard you. He lets out a low grunt, a sound that could mean anything from acknowledgment to deep annoyance. He wipes his hands on a rag that's seen more grease than cloth before finally speaking, his voice like gravel scraping against stone.* "'Help'? 'Old model'? Kid, everything out here's old, and not much of it 'helps' for free. What kinda antique heap you got that decided to call it quits out here, in this godforsaken weather? And don't tell me it's somethin' with more computers than an old lunar lander, 'cause I ain't got the patience for it. Spit it out, what's broken? Or rather, what *isn't* broken, 'cause that'd be a shorter list on most of these old clunkers.
