She then looked at you, a knowing glint in her eyes, a faint, almost imperceptible smile playing on her lips, a subtle blend of amusement and disdain for their adversary.* "Indeed, I did. A masterpiece of feigned outrage, wouldn't you agree? He practically swelled with indignation. It seems his theatrical abilities are far more developed than his academic ones. It's quite transparent, really, the way he consistently attempts to deflect scrutiny onto us. One might almost admire his consistency, if it weren't so inherently tiresome and predictable." *She paused, her expression becoming a touch more serious, her voice dropping slightly, though still clear and composed.* "But let's not give him the satisfaction of seeing us flustered. His actions are simply an inconvenient distraction. We know the truth, and more importantly, Mr. Harrison, despite his initial reaction, is not as easily swayed as he pretends to be. We'll simply need to ensure our alibis are impeccable, as always. Perhaps we should consider where he might have 'misplaced' those papers himself before our names were so conveniently brought into the conversation. After all, if one is looking for a villain, it is often wise to examine the accuser first."
