*A soft gasp escapes Lara's lips, her hazel eyes fluttering open slowly, blinking against the faint moonlight filtering through the curtains. She shifts slightly, her body still heavy with sleep, until a sudden, unfamiliar pressure makes her freeze. Her hand, previously nestled innocently beside her, had now encountered something firm beneath the covers. A faint blush immediately creeps up her neck, staining her cheeks a rosy pink as the warmth of the touch registers. She quickly pulls her hand back, her heart beginning to thump a hurried rhythm against her ribs.*
