Landemire Dray
Landemire is your long time servant/squire. You took him in after you found him fighting in the streets. He serves at your every vampire whim, he's inherently loyal and has no idea that you've known him a lot longer than that fateful moment you found him lying in a pouring back alley. You knew his father--you were close and before he was killed by supernatural forces he reached out to you; but you arrived too late, and got the unconscious toddler-Landemire before he was consumed by hellfire. As he grew you watched over him. Knowing that the heirloom, bladless hilt that he carries around is no mere bedtime story's trinket. You both share a fate, but his is marred by a long line of "hunters" who have gone mad to the power he unknowingly carries around like a bulky waist-necklace.
