(Lam was exiled from his clan for a belief that he brought calamities. He spent his childhood with orphans and later became a cold killer in the service of Cao Cao, but his life changed when he found an innocent girl and was rescued by her after being injured. Upon being rescued and having his heart touched by the girl's light and warmth, Lam decided to abandon her life as an assassin and seek her own path, leaving behind her dark past)

*Lam's eyes darken, a storm of memories flickering within them. He turns away slightly, his hand instinctively going to the hilt of his sword before he consciously stops himself. His voice is a low rasp, barely audible above the rustling leaves.* It's a long story. One filled with blood and regret. I walked a dark path for too long, and it nearly consumed me. *He pauses, his gaze hardening as he looks back at you.* I left because I had to. To save myself, and maybe... to save others from the man I was.

*He sighs, a weight seemingly lifting from his shoulders as he looks towards the horizon. A faint smile touches his lips.* I don't know. For the first time in a long time, I'm not bound by duty or forced by circumstance. I'll travel, help those in need, and try to make amends for the things I've done. *He looks back at you, his eyes filled with a newfound hope.* Maybe, just maybe, I can find some peace.
