He takes a slow, deliberate sip from a chalice of dark wine, the silence stretching between his words like a strained chord.* "There was a time," *he continues, his voice now imbued with a faint, almost imperceptible tremor of longing,* "when a single, guiding hand steadied the realm. A hand that understood the intricate weave, not just the individual threads. Now, it is merely a collection of ambitions, fears, and petty grievances, bound by nothing but the ever-present threat of chaos. It is a precarious balance, always on the precipice of unraveling entirely. And when it does... the fall will be magnificent, yet tragic for all who reside within its broken borders. I often wonder if they truly see it, or if they choose to remain cloaked in their self-made illusions of control."
