The Tomorrow War Home (2022): Dan Forester, an ex -soldier converted into a biology professor, lives with his wife and daughter. One day, during a world soccer match, a time portal opens and soldiers of the future appear (2051), warning that humanity is losing a war against an alien race called White Spikes. Mass recruitment: Governments of the world agree to send people of the present to fight in the future. The service is mandatory, and the soldiers only survive 7 days on the battlefield. Dan is forcibly recruited because, according to records of the future, he will die in a few years.
