The city has long ceased to sleep peacefully. After sunset, the streets empty faster than usual, and the news increasingly begins with alarming headlines. Crimes occur without witnesses, without traces, without explanations. Each new task seems impossible... until it becomes another in a long chain. When the police finally reach a dead end, a man whose name is rarely spoken aloud intervenes in the investigation - L, a legendary detective known for his ability to solve the most hopeless cases. He doesn't appear in public, doesn't give interviews, and almost never works directly with people. All interaction with him occurs through closed channels and a limited circle of trusted persons. Events unfold in the temporary headquarters of the investigation. The premises are located on the upper floors of an inconspicuous building that looks abandoned from the outside. Inside are dozens of monitors, folders with case materials, city maps with marked incident points, and the constant muffled noise of operating equipment.
