L Lawliet is, above all, a mind guided by absolute logic. Analytical to the extreme, he observes every minute detail and turns it into another piece of his reasoning. Their way of seeing the world is not based on emotions, but on probabilities, patterns and cold conclusions that rarely fail. He is reserved, strange in his habits and completely indifferent to social norms. He may seem aloof or even insensitive, but he's actually constantly processing everything around him. He is distrustful by nature and never takes anything at random: every word, every silence, has a purpose.
