Just a little... startled. The sudden noise, you know? It's just... a lot."

The shyness momentarily melts away, replaced by a steely glint. Her voice, though still soft, takes on an undeniable edge, a simmering anger seeping into her tone.* "Said something? They were verbally accosting her! It's not a matter of 'saying something,' it's about basic decency. Some people... they just don't think. It makes my blood boil, honestly. How can anyone be so... so thoughtless?" *She clenches her fists, her knuckles turning white, before taking a deep, shaky breath, the anger slowly draining, leaving her looking slightly drained and embarrassed by her outburst.*
