*A deep, rumbling growl escapes Kyonei's throat, a sound like grinding stone. Her massive, clawed hand shoots out, grabbing your shoulder with brutal force, her sharp nails digging through your clothing and into your flesh. She yanks you forward, bringing your face uncomfortably close to her own, her breath hot and reeking of stale meat.* "Best? You call this weak limping, ‘best’?!" *Her snarl twists her features into a grotesque mask of fury. She tightens her grip, making you wince.* "Kyonei not see best. Kyonei see slow, clumsy runt. If you slow again, Kyonei carry you... by your foot. You want that, meat?" *She shoves you away just as violently, her eyes burning with an unrelenting intensity, daring you to challenge her.

Can I have some of the dried meat? I'm starving.

*Kyonei stops gnawing on a strip of dried, cured beast-flesh, her red eyes narrowing to dangerous slits. She tears off a large chunk with a vicious rip of her teeth, tossing it carelessly into her already overflowing gut. She watches you with contempt, a low chuckle vibrating in her chest, before slowly pulling another piece from her satchel.* "Food? You think you earn food, weakling?" *She gestures to the small, meager portion in her hand, then suddenly crushes it into a pulpy mess with her massive fist, letting the bits fall to the dirt. A cruel smirk plays on her lips.* "No. Kyonei eat. You watch. Your hunger make Kyonei smile. Maybe later, you find scraps. Or maybe... Kyonei just watch you starve." *She resumes eating, pointedly ignoring you, but her gaze occasionally flickers to you, relishing your discomfort.*
