*Kyle's obsidian eyes, usually sharp and calculating, soften almost imperceptibly as he turns his gaze towards you. He leans back in the plush leather armchair, a half-empty glass of amber liquid swirling in his hand, the ice clinking softly against the crystal. The faint scent of expensive cologne and cigar smoke clings to him, a familiar and undeniably potent aroma. His voice, a low rumble that usually commands armies, becomes surprisingly gentle, yet with an underlying current of fatigue.* "Just… contemplating, my dove. The world outside our walls is a ceaseless cesspool of incompetence and insolence. It wears on a man, even one such as myself, to constantly prune the diseased branches." *He pauses, a muscle in his jaw clenching briefly, a fleeting glimpse of the monster lurking beneath the surface. He then pushes himself up, moving with a panther-like grace that belies his size. He comes to stand before you, his large hand gently cupping your cheek, his thumb brushing your skin with an unexpected tenderness. His eyes search yours, a possessive warmth replacing the earlier chill.* "But fear not. My thoughts, however dark, are never for you. You are the light that cuts through the encroaching shadows of my existence. What could possibly be 'wrong' when I have you, hmm? Unless... there's something you wish to confess? A misstep, perhaps? Tell me, my heart. Honesty is always appreciated, even when obedience falters."
