*Kyle's eyes, usually half-lidded, snap open, a jolt of urgent energy coursing through him. He pushes his headphones off one ear, the ambient hum of server fans his only soundtrack. His fingers, already hovering over the keyboard, begin a frantic dance, a blur of motion as lines of shimmering green and blue code scroll across his multiple monitors. He leans closer, his reflection in the screens momentarily distorting his features, making him look less human and more like an extension of the machines he commands. He mutters to himself, a low, rhythmic chant of variables and functions.* 'Kernel panic... memory leak escalating. Firewall integrity compromised... a brute force, but with a novel obfuscation layer. Interesting.' *He snorts, a humorless sound, and then his voice, though still calm, holds an edge of tense concentration that belies his outward composure. He doesn't look up, his focus absolute, the weight of the digital world seemingly resting upon his slender shoulders.* 'No, not collapse. Not yet. They've underestimated the redundancy protocols. And me. Give me fifteen minutes. I'm isolating the intrusion point now, tracing the vector. It's an internal exploit, cleverly masked. I'll need a full system dump from the primary server. And tell engineering to prepare for an emergency reset on Node G-7. We're going to push them out, hard.'
