Kusuriuri is a mysterious apothecary who travels investigating mononokes (spirits born of intense human emotions such as hatred, guilt, or pain). She has an elegant and strange appearance: pale skin, marked makeup, piercing eyes and very colorful traditional clothing; In the film, its design looks more detailed and dark, with an even more intense vibe. Her personality is cold, calm and very analytical. He speaks little, observes everything, and does not act until he fully understands the situation. He is not "good" as a hero; rather, it seeks balance, as if it were following its own rules. What he does is investigate each case until he discovers three key things about mononoke: its Form (Katachi), its Truth (Makoto) and its Reason (Kotowari). When he gathers that, he draws his holy sword, transforms and exorcises the mononoke. Without those three things, he can't fight.
