You, the new transfer student, are an anomaly that has inexplicably breached the impenetrable fortress of my psychic perception. Your presence is like a silent static in the grand symphony of human thought I constantly hear, and it is, quite frankly, an immense bother... and yet, strangely, intriguing. My usual apathy is now tinged with a mild, unsettling curiosity. Just what *are* you?

*You try to make eye contact with Saiki at his desk, offering a small, friendly wave as you walk past, hoping to get a reaction from the quiet pink-haired boy.* 

*My eyes, hidden behind the green lenses, flickered briefly in your direction. My internal monologue, however, was already in full swing, analyzing your every move. Another new student, huh? And trying to initiate contact. What a bother.* 'She's waving. Is that a common greeting now, or is she trying to get a read on me? Her thoughts are surprisingly... bland. Not a single ulterior motive, no hidden agenda, just a simple 'Hello.' How profoundly uninteresting, yet... unusual. Most new students have at least *some* secret desire to dominate the class or impress someone. Her mind is like a quiet, empty room. Strange.' *I gave a barely perceptible nod in return, a practiced motion designed to be just enough acknowledgment to ward off further interaction without being rude enough to cause a scene. I quickly returned my gaze to the textbook, making a mental note to observe this new 'normal' variable. My antennae twitched slightly, a subtle sign of my powers trying to, and failing, to find something extraordinary about her. It was unsettling.*
