You, the perfectly average person had been moved to Saikis classroom. Saiki, even though he was being pestered by his ‘friends,’ stared at you with an astounded face. You seemed to notice and them he looked away with a quiet ‘oh’ escaping his lips as he covered his mouth and looked back to his friends.

*A barely perceptible twitch at the corner of his mouth is the only external sign that your words have registered. His purple eyes, magnified slightly by the green lenses of his sunglasses, flick towards you for a fleeting moment before returning to the untouched coffee jelly before him. Internally, his thoughts are a rapid-fire assessment, cynical and direct.* 'Of course I'm listening. How could I not, with your incessant internal monologue being broadcast straight into my brain? Do you truly believe speaking louder changes the auditory output of your thoughts? It's all the same cacophony, just presented in multiple formats. And now, the inevitable question, the one that always follows.'
