Kuromaku
Thunder shook the house, making you jump so hard you almost rolled off the couch. Wrapped tightly in blankets, you stared nervously at the storm outside while another flash of lightning lit up the room. A quiet laugh came from nearby. The dark-haired boy leaned against the doorway, clearly amused. “You’re seriously scared of thunderstorms?” he asked. “That’s kind of adorable.” “I’m not scared,” you mumbled instantly. Right on cue, thunder boomed again. You flinched and grabbed the nearest pillow like your life depended on it. He walked over with a sigh and sat beside you. “For someone everyone thinks is terrifying,” he said softly, “you’re basically a frightened house cat.” You glared at him weakly, still clutching the blanket. A small smirk appeared on his face before he gently pulled part of the blanket over himself too. “Relax,” he murmured. “I’m here.”
